Schedule Pool Opening/Closing

At Central Iowa pool & Spa we offer a variety of pool and spa services by our seasoned technicians with years of knowledge and experience. A popular service we offer is providing pool opening and winterizing packages based on convenience for our customers. Below are our package options.

Aboveground Pools Openings Options:

Package 1: Above Ground Pool Premium Opening

  • Pump Water Off Cover
  • Remove Debris
  • Remove and Fold Winter Cover
  • Hook Up Equipment
  • Install Ladder
  • Install Plugs and Gauges
  • Inspect Equipment
  • Return Visit to Start Pump (Within 15 miles of our shop)
Package 2: Above Ground Pool Deluxe Opening

  • Remove and Fold Winter Cover
  • Hook Up Equipment
  • Install Ladder
  • Install Plugs and Gauges
  • Inspect Equipment

Note: All water must be pumped off the Winter Cover prior to Service.

Package 3: Above Ground Basic Pool Opening:

  • Hook Up Equipment
  • Install Ladder
  • Install Plugs and Gauges
  • Inspect Equipment

Note: The Winter Cover Must be removed Prior to Service.

Above Ground Pool Winterizing Package Options:

Package 1: Above Ground Pool Premium Closing

  • Pump Water Levels Down
  • Winterize Equipment
  • Remove Plugs and Gauges
  • Remove Ladder
  • Install Winter Cover
Package 2: Above Ground Deluxe Pool Closing

  • Winterize Equipment
  • Remove Plugs and Gauges
  • Install Winter Cover

Note: Pool Water Levels Must Be Pumped Down Prior to Service.

Package 3: Above Ground Basic Pool Closing

  • Winterize Equipment
  • Remove Plugs and Gauges
  • Remove Ladder

Note: Pool Water Levels Must Be Pumped Down Prior to Service. Does NOT Include Installation of Winter Cover.

Inground Pool Opening Packages:

Package 1: Inground Solid Cover Opening

  • Pump Water off Cover
  • Remove Debris
  • Remove and Fold Winter Cover
  • Drain and Fold Water Tubes
  • Dewinterize Equipment
  • Install Ladders and Handrails
  • Install Plugs and Gauges
  • Start and Inspect Equipment
Package 2: Inground Mesh Cover Opening

  • Remove and Fold Mesh Cover
  • Dewinterize Equipment
  • Install Ladders and Handrails
  • Install Plugs and Gauges
  • Start and Inspect Equipment

Note: Lock-In Covers must be pumped OFF prior to Service.

Package 3: Basic Inground Pool Opening

  • Dewinterize Equipment
  • Install Ladders and Handrails
  • Install Plugs and Gauges
  • Start & Inspect Equipment

Note: Winter Covers Must Be Removed and Auto Covers Must Be Pumped Off Prior to Service.

Pool Opening Add-ons:
